Student Designed Crest for New Colleges

Competition to design crests for the newly formed residential colleges is currently underway.

All the dorms, except for Parkside Commons, will receive renovations, new names, and new themes.

Director of Housing Carol Roberts-Corb mentioned to the daily 49er that there is no preferred theme when it comes to the design of the crests because the crests are meant to represent the students.

Residents will vote on the winning crest, and that crest will represent each new college. The competition to design it is to give students a sense of community and identity as a college, and look forward to the new changes being made to the dorms.

Dorms like Los Cerritos and Los Alamitos will undergo changes that will include a new identifying crest. Photo taken from csulb.edu
